We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant who is an enthusiastic and caring individual, to join the team to support a child with autism. You should be flexible, proactive and sensitive to the child’s needs and will need to be highly motivated, passionate and committed to children’s learning.
The post will involve working 1:1 with a child, supporting their learning and social and emotional development. This is a part time role and working mornings only
Please note that this is a temporary position to assist with provision of the special needs of a pupil and is subject to their continued attendance at the school and/or result of any review of their special needs.
This role is based in our mainstream classes and you will be responsible for supporting one of our SEN pupils. You will also be working closely with the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
Previous experience of working with Pupils with SEN is required.
