Flourish Education are currently working with a Primary School in Walsall who are looking to recruit a SEN teaching assistant to work with a child with year 4 child with Autism.

This is a full time, long term role working with 1:1 with a key stage 2 child.                                                 

The school require an experienced teaching Assistant who has worked with autism previously within a primary setting.  

To apply for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will need the following

• A minimum Level 2 CACHE in childcare
• Experience working with children in primary schools with Autism
• Can do attitude

 Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant

• To follow the schools individual plan for the child
• To liaise with external agencies as and when needed
• To follow the school behaviour policy
• Support the class teacher as and when needed
