Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Health & Social Care teacher for a maternity cover starting in October. It is a full time position for 9 – 12 months in the Dudley area.

The school are looking for someone who can contribute to whole school life and will help continue the improvements that have recently been made at the school.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• A teaching qualification relevant to teaching Health & Social Care – NQT’s are encouraged to apply
• Able to teach BTEC Health & Social Care
• Strong behaviour management
• A reference from your last post as a Health & Social Care Teacher

Responsibilities

As a Health & Social Care Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan creative and engaging lessons for the BTEC course
• Provide strong management in the classroom
• Differentiate lessons and use strategies to aid students of varying abilities
• Help children with SEN achieve through targeted learning
• Attend departmental meetings and parents’ evening
• Follow the policies and procedures of the school
