Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a slightly smaller than average primary school located in Tamworth.

Strong curriculum knowledge and KS1 experience is essential. The school is currently looking to make improvements over the coming academic year, and is hoping for a strong and dedicated individual to join their caring team and help them continue this enhancement.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) NQT’s are encouraged to apply for this post
• Strong curriculum knowledge and KS1 experience is essential
• Prior experience as a KS1 Teacher
• Last two years of work references, one of which must be a teaching reference

Responsibilities:

As a KS1 teacher you will be expected and required to:

• Developing and implementing lessons and work schemes
• It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils. 
• Plan, prepare and teach exciting, challenging and engaging lessons
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with the school behaviour policy
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc. Phonics would be advantageous as some pupils require support in this area
