Flourish Education are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Year 6 Teacher on behalf of a school based in Great Barr. The school are a 2 form entry ‘Good’ school that are looking for someone to start on a temporary to permanent basis in September.

The school are offering flexibility within this role; they are open to receiving applicants that are looking for both full and part time work as they are looking to find the right candidate/s for the job.

You will be joining a school where children are well behaved and exited to learn. Both Governors and SLT have a shared and clear vision for the school resulting in a calm, purposeful learning environment.

To apply to this role you will need the following:

Hold UK QTS (Strong NQTs are welcome to apply)

Have previous experience teaching Year 6

Have experience supporting Year 6 through SATs

Be able to provide a minimum of 2 years’ worth of ‘Good’ references

Responsibilities

This is a fixed term contract for the 18/19 academic year, therefore you will be taking on full class teaching responsibility. You must be happy to plan, prepare, assess and take part in wider school activities, and in return you will be “paid to scale” for the duration of this assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who would like the security and job satisfaction of long term teaching but isn’t able to commit to a permanent role, though for the right candidate there is the opportunity to be taken on permanently.
