Flourish Education are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for a larger than average Primary School located in Cannock to join their KS2 team. This is a full time role that is due to start in September and is expected to last for the full academic year.

The school require an experienced teaching assistant who can deal with challenging, social and emotional needs to work with small groups of children and provide support to the year 6 class teacher.

The school was graded ‘good’ in their recent Ofsted report and boasts how strong and supportive the staff team are. The proportion of pupils supported by the pupil premium is below average as is the children with the statement SEN.

To apply to this role you will need the following:

• Level 3 qualification or above
• KS2 experience
• Have at least 6 weeks experience as a Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School
• Good behaviour management skills 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons to small groups of children
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 Curriculum
• Work with children with an enthusiasm for learning
