Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher

Flourish Education is working with a Primary School located in Northfield. Flourish Education are recruiting for a KS2 Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis. The role is to work within one of their Lower Key Stage 2 classes (Year 3 or Year 4), class is flexible. The role will include planning and marking; however, the teachers often share resources.

NQT induction support could be negotiated.

The role is looking to start at February Half Term for the remainder of the academic year. The role is a maternity cover but the school are a growing school so a permanent role could become available.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Qualified Teacher Status, NQT’s are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in Lower KS2
• SAT’s experience is favoured but not essential
• The ability to nurture the transition from KS1 into KS2
• High expectations of behaviour

Responsibilities

• To deliver creative and engaging lessons to the KS2 class
• To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
• To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
• To differentiate to accommodate all levels of learning
• To commit full-time to your class
