Flourish Education are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school situated in Perry Barr, who are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic NQT to become part of the Team on a long term basis.

 The role is due to commence after the Easter Half Term and is to continue through until the end of the year. The role does have the potential to come to an end at the end of the Summer Term for anybody that has something in place for September.

 The members of staff are really looking forward to welcoming a fresh face to the team. They have lots of support and guidance in place in order to assist you with completing your NQT Terms.        

 Ideal candidates will have a flexible working schedule and will be able to travel in and around the Birmingham and Solihull Local Authorities. This is the perfect opportunity for a NQT.

 Becoming a Supply Teacher is a great way of gaining experience working in different schools with different classes and the perfect option for someone looking to control their work life balance.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Be a Newly Qualified Teacher OR looking to complete your NQT Year
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 years’ worth of ‘Good’ references
• Be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations
• You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables

Responsibilities

Each NQT will be assigned a mentor in school. The mentor will be an experienced Teacher in the Key Stage and someone with a track record of supporting trainees. The recruited teacher will join a progressive Early Years Department with its own leader and team of teachers. The department hold regular meetings and welcomes input from all staff including those new to the school and their teaching assistants. Your ideas as an NQT will be held in high regard. You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons of a high standard as well as utilising one of the school’s graduate Teaching Assistants.
