Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher for a school in Nuneaton. The school are looking for someone to join their team for the Summer Term, with the possibility of becoming permanent in September 2017.

The school is a one form entry, Catholic Primary school in Nuneaton, with a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. It can be easily reached by public transport and is approximately a 10 minute drive from the town centre.

The role will be a full time, whole class teaching position in Year 6. You will be expected to plan and mark; PPA time will be allocated in your timetable.

To be considered for the position you will:

• Have QTS and be able to demonstrate successful teaching experience in KS2, ideally in Year 6
• Be confident in preparing and guiding pupils through the new KS2 SATs
• Plan and deliver sequences of lessons which ensure rapid progress for all pupils
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge of the requirements for the new KS2 National Curriculum
• Have good behaviour management skills, using appropriate strategies
• Work in partnership with staff and parents/carers to ensure the best for all pupils
• Have a positive, flexible attitude to work
• Be supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos

To be eligible for the £200 bonus scheme:

• Candidates must registered before Easter 2017
• Be in a full time role working through Flourish Education as one of the following: Primary Teacher, English Teacher, Maths Teacher, Science Teacher or Humanities Teacher
• The first £100 will be paid after completion of first days 10 days’ work in the assignment, with the second £100 being paid once completion of the whole of the summer term.
• Flourish Education reserve the right to change and terminate this scheme at any time.
