Flourish Education are currently working with a large, friendly Secondary School in their search for a permanent RE Teacher to join their Humanities team. The school currently holds 1200 pupils and each subject division has its own block.

The school is in the process of improving standards and therefore are looking for a strong and passionate team member who is seeking a new challenge and will ensure that pupils achieve their full potential at all times. The schools behaviour is graded as ‘good’ within the latest Ofsted report and they are surrounded by big open grounds for the children.

To apply to this role you will need the following:

• The ability to differentiate within planning

·    Qualified Teacher status (QTS) – NQT’s are encouraged to apply

• Recent experience as a secondary teacher
• RE Subject knowledge
• A reference from your last teaching post

Responsibilities

• Within this role you will be responsible for:
• Take on a full planning and marking RE Teacher role whilst undertaking a full timetable for KS3 and KS4
• Strong Subject knowledge – RE
• Able to demonstrate students progression in all lessons for abilities
• Manage behaviour as per the school guidelines
• Manage teaching assistants effectively
