Flourish Education are currently working with a local Primary School near Kidderminster and are looking for a Key Stage 1 teacher to cover a mixed Year 1 and 2 class on a temporary basis. The role is due to start after Christmas at the start of the Spring Term and continue until the end of the academic year. A good candidate will also have the responsibility of Leadership of Maths.

The school is a large primary school located outside Kidderminster town centre and is one and a half form entry. It has a great school ethos and teachers are encouraged to be inspiring in the way they teach.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience within Key Stage 1 is essential
• To be committed to long term work
• Experience of subject leadership would be an advantage
• Good primary maths knowledge would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• To plan, prepare and deliver inspiring lessons
• To assess and mark all work
• Maintain high levels of behaviour and classroom management in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy
