Search jobsWe are working on behalf of a popular Primary school set in Central Dudley who are looking for recruit a Primary Teacher for their Year 1 class. The role is to start in January, on a full time basis, and do last until the end of the academic year.
The school, which was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection, is larger than average and around half of the pupils on roll qualify for pupil premium funding. The proportion of children with SEN is also higher than the national average.

Responsibilities
You will be expected to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons following the KS1 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience of phonics and in particular preparing children for the Phonics screening check.
The pupils in the class are keen to learn and behaviour is generally good, so emphasis is on pushing the children academically to reach their full potential. You will be supported in class by a full time teaching assistant who you will need to manage effectively.
The school is ideally looking for an experienced post-induction teacher for this role, however NQT’s with an early years specialism will also be considered.
