Flourish Education are working with a 2 form entry Primary School. The school is rated as ‘Good’ and located in a pleasant residential area in Sutton.

It has been stated that behaviour, both in and out of lessons, is exemplary. Pupils are courteous and respectful to their peers, teachers and visitors. The percentage of pupils eligible for pupil premium is lower than the national average, along with the proportion of pupils who are disabled or have special educational needs.

Flourish Education are recruiting for a year 2 teacher to join the school on a long-term basis. The role is to work within their year 2 class alongside an experienced teacher. The role includes planning (The school have stated L/T planning is in place) and marking, with assessments and requirements to attend all necessary meetings.

The role is to start from September, temp to perm for the right individual.

·         Qualified Teacher Status, NQT’s are encouraged to apply.

·         Experience working in KS1

·         High expectations of learning

Responsibilities

·         To deliver creative and engaging lessons to a year 2 class

·         To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant

·         To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
