Flourish Education is working with a 3 form entry primary school based near to the centre of Coventry, to assist in recruiting a year 6 teacher with SATs experience to join their existing teaching team on a full time permanent contract from September 2015.

Our client is a primary school located in the Foleshill area of Coventry and they are actively recruiting for a Year 6 class teacher to work with a challenging year 6 Class from September 2015. The school was rated ‘Good’ in their latest Ofsted report as they offer an exciting curriculum with additional extracurricular activities and provides a supporting environment in which staff and pupils can flourish.

The school’s main priority is to recruit an outstanding key stage 2 Year 6 Class teacher who has high expectations, good behaviour management techniques, and can form very good relationships with the children, staff and parents alike. The successful year 6 class teacher must have experience working with children with special educational needs and English as an additional language to be considered for this role. This role is a full time, term time only contract in which the teacher would be expected to conduct year 6 SATs preparation, assessments, reports and attend parent’s evenings.

The successful candidate will:

• Must be a Qualified/Newly qualified Teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP,Bed, BA with QTS
• UK resident or eligible to work in the UK
• Have teaching experience in the UK for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a desire to improve the learning of KS2 children
• Be adaptable to different working schedules
• Have experience of demonstrating excellent behaviour management
• Excel in undertaking of administrational tasks
• Have experience of working with KS2 children
• Experience preparing Year 6 pupils for SATs exams
