Flourish Education is currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school located in Erdington who are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 6 Teacher. You will be covering a Maternity contract, due to commence in October 2018. The role is expected to continue through until the end of the academic year.

To apply to this role you will need the following:

·    Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status

·    Must be an excellent classroom practitioner

·    Have prior experience supporting and preparing for KS2 SATs

·    Experience of successful teaching within a primary school

·    Ability to confidently teach across the KS2 curriculum

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for a KS2 class as a form teacher, providing teaching and pastoral care
• Plan and teach a range of subjects across the KS2 curriculum according to the needs of children
• Keep records of children’s attainment and report children’s progress to parents through written reports and parents’ evenings
• Liaise with other staff (including the SENCo and Gifted & Talented Coordinator) to provide suitable support or challenge to meet the needs of all children in the class
