Pyjamas, Pudsey and Team Spirit: Supporting Children in Need

Today at Flourish Education, we swapped our usual office wear for something a little more comfortable — pyjamas!

But while the team may have looked ready for a cosy night in, there was a very meaningful reason behind the dress-down day. To support BBC Children in Need, our team came into the office wearing their PJs and donated £1 each to help raise money for children and young people across the UK.

It was a small act of fun for a much bigger cause.

Coming Together for Children in Need

Children in Need is one of the UK’s most recognisable charity campaigns, helping to fund projects and organisations that support children and young people facing challenges such as poverty, mental health difficulties, social inequality and family pressures. BBC Children in Need says it funds vital support for children and young people across the UK.

As a company working closely with schools, education professionals and local communities, Children in Need is a cause that feels especially close to home for us. Every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported and able to thrive — and fundraising days like this are a simple but powerful way to show our support.

A Little Fun for a Big Cause

From fluffy slippers to matching sets, the office was full of colour, comfort and plenty of smiles. It was a lovely reminder that fundraising does not always have to be complicated. Sometimes, making a difference can start with something as simple as turning up in your pyjamas and giving what you can.

Our PJs for Pudsey day brought the team together, encouraged conversation and gave everyone the chance to take part in something positive. It also gave us another opportunity to celebrate the kind of workplace culture we are proud of. One built on teamwork, kindness and community spirit.
