I’ve worked in recruitment for more than 20 years, and what’s never changed is my passion for people. I love getting to know candidates, understanding what they’re looking for and helping them take that next step in their career. Working in education makes that even more rewarding because the people we recruit have the opportunity to make a real difference to children and young people every day.

Before joining Flourish Education, I worked in internal recruitment and with Reed, where I gained extensive experience in finding great candidates and supporting people throughout the recruitment process. Over the years, I’ve learnt that good recruitment is about much more than a CV. It’s about listening, building trust and understanding what someone really wants from their next role. In Candidate Care, I’ll be one of the first people candidates speak to at Flourish Education, helping them explore their options and making sure they feel supported from the very beginning.

Outside of work, life is wonderfully busy. My children keep me on my toes between football matches and dance rehearsals, and when I do get some downtime, I love socialising with friends and making the most of family time.
