Flourish Education exhibit at BEP 2017

Flourish Education exhibited over two days at the 2017 BEP Conference in the ICC, Birmingham. Learning to Shape Birmingham is an event organised by Birmingham heads for all who lead Birmingham schools, whatever the type or phase.

Conference Theme: A Values Anchor in Stormy Seas

Surviving the current winds of educational change may feel like being at sea in a small boat as storm clouds gather and a big sea builds. Government policy changes, increasing financial pressures, teacher shortages, increased accountability and ever-changing Ofsted requirements each represent separate storm systems that that can cause your boat to be swamped or even to capsize completely.

This year's conference covered the latest in Government policy. Learning from successful practice nationally it focussed on all settings, regardless of phase or designation.

  • Strategic financial planning and risk mitigation

  • the latest on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment

  • learning about new school groupings and collaboratives.

Overall, the day was a great experience. Grant, Amy and Dan met with fellow exhibitors, speakers and delegates from around the country. Our new Flourish Education Partner Rewards scheme was of particular interest to leaders and managers, in and around the West Midlands.

As a local education recruitment agency in Birmingham, we'll do all we can to build strong partnerships and go the extra mile to help secure a good education for ALL Birmingham children.
