Wolverhampton University Career Development Week
Meeting with the next generation of teachers at Wolverhampton University
Our Jo visited the University of Wolverhampton during Career Development Week to meet with students interested in an education career.
Career Development Week (CDW) is a new initiative that has been introduced for the first time across the University offering all students the opportunity to get involved in activities, courses and workshops designed to enhance their CV and add to their student experience.
The University have really listened to student feedback. Students have asked for more enrichment activities and their aim is to dedicate a week which will allow students to focus on thinking about where their studies might take them in the future.
Graduate and student careers fairs are a great way to meet recruiters such as ourselves, find out more about employers and industries, and hunt for jobs. Wolverhamption students are keen to learn from industry professionals which is why the university has a 96% graduate employability rate.
It was a pleasure to meet so many enthusiastic, polite and courteous students and Education graduates who were willing to listen to our advice and guidance.
