Reception year bridges the gap between Nursery and School, being the first year in primary school and the final year of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. As a qualified Early Years Teacher, you play a vital role in your pupil’s future academic success, by setting clear behavioural expectations whilst building and nurturing a strong understanding of numbers and reading through creative and engaging learning and play activities. Strong phonics knowledge is a must for any Early Years Teacher.
