Education Recruitment Consultant - Paige

Woman investing in retail therapy

Paige talks about her career at Flourish Education

Supply teachers are an incredibly important part of the education system. When a teacher is off work, whether they're sick or on leave, then it's a supply teacher's job to step in and fill the gap. Everyone at Flourish Education works very hard to ensure that we can provide some of the best supply teachers and education staff. There's a variety of qualities and attributes that make a good supply teacher, the first being honesty. Of course it's always crucial to be open and honest to your students when giving feedback, as well as being honest about your skills and experience when registering with us.

Q1. What’s your story/background?

I started at Flourish Education initially in November 2015 as an Apprentice Administrator and managed to work my way up to Compliance Resourcer. After having some time out last year, I’m now back to fulfil a Recruitment Consultant role and I couldn’t be happier, I’m looking forward to further learning and progressing both personally and professionally, with a great team behind me.

Q2. What motivates you and why?

I genuinely believe that by working hard, you produce results. I love meeting new people from all walks of life and learning new things all of the time, Flourish allows me to do this by speaking to hundreds of different personalities and characters daily. We have regular positive reinforcements and incentives to allow us to continue pushing for success!

Q3. What do you like about working at Flourish Education?

I love working for Flourish Education for a number of reasons. There are so many training opportunities in place and the team really do feel like family.

I really enjoy sitting down and really getting to know and understand what exactly a candidate is looking for. I strive to be completely open and transparent and enjoy building new relationships with both candidates and clients alike.

Q5. What area and roles do you specialise in?

I personally cover North Birmingham and Solihull areas. I specialise in placing quality primary education professionals into work.

Q6. What advice do you have for candidates in their education career?

Be memorable and never forget the reason you went into education for to begin with.

Q7. What are your Interests and hobbies outside of work?

As a lover of the finer things in life, I enjoy reaping the rewards of my hard work and investing in retail therapy. If I’m not shopping, I like going on long walks with my little Yorkshire Terrier in our matching coats.
