Flourish Education are currently working with a small church school in Lichfield. They are currently looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to join their lower key stage 2 team. The school prides itself on being a creative, fun, and happy learning environment. The behaviour within the school is good and the children are motivated to learn.

If you are an experienced 1:1 Teaching assistant with effective behaviour management to work with a child in a year 3/4 class. For this role you will need good subject knowledge of Key stage 2 Maths and English, if you have experience of working with children with ASD and SEMH that would be beneficial.

This role is to start ASAP and will continue until February half-term.

To apply to this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role you will need the following

• A calm and patient manner
• The ability to use praise and positive reinforcement to encourage pupils.
• To have the relevant level 2 or above
• To have good subject knowledge of maths and English in lower KS2
• To have good behavioural management skills
• Experience with children who have SEN.
• To be able to establish good relationships

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher and Senco
• Prepare resources.
• Follow school behaviour policies.
