Flourish Education are recruiting for an Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through creative and engaging Art lessons while becoming part of a dedicated teaching team.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Art Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering creativity, developing students' artistic skills, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

The role will involve full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering lessons, assessing and marking students' work, monitoring progress, attending parents' evenings, and completing report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.

This is a part-time position, starting in September and continuing until Easter, with the potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.
Required Skills and Experience as an Art Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Art within a Secondary School
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Proven ability with good behaviour management
  • Good commitment to providing a positive classroom culture

  • Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1-M6)
