Flourish Education is recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Solihull that is seeking an Art Teacher to join its teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, encourage creativity, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
We are looking for a committed Art Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about developing students' artistic skills while creating an inclusive classroom where every learner is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
As the Art Teacher, you will be responsible for the full teaching role, including planning and delivering lessons, assessing and marking students' work, monitoring progress, writing reports, and attending parents' evenings for KS3 and KS4 students.
This is a part-time position starting in September and continuing until Easter, with the potential for the role to be extended for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
