Search jobsFlourish Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary School in Dudley, who are looking for a highly experienced Attendance Officer (Preferably grade 6 qualified and above) to join their team from September. Our client has a rich, broad, and varied curriculum, meeting the needs of learners of all abilities.
Duties will include monitoring attendance within the school and completing home visits when necessary, working with legal documentation and preparing referrals to local councils, general office duties and enquiries and answering telephone calls.
This Attendance Officer position is full time, starting in September 2021 on a rolling contract.
To apply to this Attendance Officer role, you will need the following:
·Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer in a school setting
·Qualified grade 6 or above
·A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures
·Experience in completing home visits and working with legal documentation
Responsibilities of an Attendance Officer:
· General Office duties
·Monitoring attendance throughout the school
·Completing home visits when necessary and working with legal documentation
·Inputting Data
·Dealing with queries from parents, staff, students, and external organisations.
·Answering telephone calls
