Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting a SEN Teacher to work at a mainstream primary school in the Lozells area. The role is full-time, 5 days per week on a long-term basis, likely until the end of the academic year.

The school is situated in Lozells in Birmingham on a large new build site.

Flourish Education are working with the school to recruit a teacher with a background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to teach a smaller than average class. This is a part-class-based role and the successful candidate will be required to teach from the national curriculum. The successful candidate will work closely with the school SENDCo, who will also do the majority of the planning alongside the class teacher.

All of the children have EHCP’s and have TA support full-time.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teacher role:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status- (ECT’s are considered)
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
Experience teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Ability to manage challenging behaviour
Patience and resilience

Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teacher you will receive:
Day rate up to £190 per day which equates to £37,050 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 15.38% of your day rate

The school is situated in Lozells near Birmingham City Centre. There is onsite parking either in a school car park or on the road in a residential area.
