Flourish Education are recruiting for a Class Teacher to join a local partnership Primary School in Rednal, Birmingham. The school is 2-form entry, ‘good’ school, the school runs on the thrive approach, which focuses on the wellbeing of both staff and pupils within the school.

Our client is seeking a Class Teacher for a long-term position, full-time, starting in September, until the end of the academic year. This role will be in Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2, likely in Year 1, 2 or 3, however the school is happy to play to the ideal candidates’ strengths. The responsibilities of this role would be full class teaching, this would include planning, preparing resources and marking lessons as well as delivering lessons to the class. You would also be required to attend parents’ evenings and staff meetings.

For this Class Teacher role, you will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS- Qualified Teaching Status)
  • Have experience working in either Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2 (KS2) in schools in the UK.
  • Effectively manage behaviour in the class.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work well in partnership with the class Teaching Assistant.
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 24 months of references (at least one from your most recent employer)

This Class Teacher role is based in Rednal, which is easily accessible from Rubery, Longbridge, Cofton Hackett, Turves Green, West Heath, Northfield, Lickey and Frankley. Onsite parking is available, but the school is easily accessed via Public Transport.
