Job Description

Are you a Class Teacher looking for a Year 2 Teacher position? Flourish Education are recruiting a Class Teacher to work with a popular 2-form entry Primary school based in Dudley. This role is a full time role to start in October and to continue to December (initially).

The Year 2 Class Teacher role requires full class responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment.

The primary teacher would be expected to attend staff meetings, work with their year group partner during PPA and attend parents evening. ECTs are encouraged to apply for this role but experience of Year 2 would be preferred.

Required skills and experience for this Class Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Confident in leading a classroom of children.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management
  • Year 2 assessments/SATs experience
  • To be able to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant
