This role is due to start in September for the whole of the academic year, you will be teaching both KS3 and KS4, with planning and marking involved.
JOB ROLE:
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in line with the National Curriculum
- Full class responsibilities including planning, preparation, delivery, and marking
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Work closely with the Secondary School’s leadership and IT departments
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
- Inspire students through innovative teaching strategies and excellent subject knowledge
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Proven experience as a Secondary Teacher or Secondary School Subject Lead
- Excellent subject knowledge of Computer Science and strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to deliver lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Exceptional behaviour management and classroom presence
- Passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil development
