Job Description

We are recruiting for a Computer Science Teacher to join a high-achieving department within a nationally recognised training and development school. This role is due to start in January and runs for the full academic year. You will be delivering Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, allowing you to focus on teaching and engaging students with practical and theoretical computing concepts.

JOB ROLE:

  • Deliver Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 following the National Curriculum
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management in line with school expectations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental events and initiatives
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best in Computer Science

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Proven experience as a Computer Science Teacher or Secondary Teacher in a Secondary School setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and ability to engage pupils effectively
  • Excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
