Flourish Education are recruiting for a Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact while being part of a dedicated and supportive teaching team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and creating an inclusive classroom where all learners are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

This role is due to start in January and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Job Role:
  • Deliver Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 following the National Curriculum
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management in line with school expectations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental events and initiatives
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best in Computer Science

Required skills and experience as a Computer Science Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Proven experience as a Computer Science Teacher or Secondary Teacher in a Secondary School setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and ability to engage pupils effectively
  • Excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently

Working as a Computer Science Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
  • Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1-M6)
