Flourish Education is currently recruiting for primary trained Early Career Teachers to work in schools in Hereford and the surrounding areas. Working as a Primary Early Career Teacher on supply will give you the opportunity to experience different year groups, and to gain insight into the sorts of school you’d like to work for in the future. As a Supply Teacher you will not be expected to plan lessons. You will however be required to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and to mark pupil’s work. You will have high expectations of pupil behaviour, work well as part of a team, and be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment. A passion for education and the ability to teach in an exciting and engaging way is essential.

Flourish Education are looking to recruit Early Career Teachers immediately.

Responsibilities for the Early Career Teacher role:

  • To deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies
  • To work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met
  • To communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
  • To set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.

Required Skills and Experience for this Early Career Teacher role:

  • ·        Currently completing a QTS qualification
  • ·        A record of ‘good’ classroom practise throughout your placements
  • ·        Up to date knowledge of the Primary curriculum
  • ·        To be adaptable and reliable
  • A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months

This Early Career Teacher opportunity is located in Hereford, and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Malvern, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster. We work with schools that have onsite carparks, or that are easily accessible via public transport.
