As a Supply Teacher you will not be expected to plan lessons. You will however be required to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and to mark pupil’s work. You will have high expectations of pupil behaviour, work well as part of a team, and be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment. A passion for education and the ability to teach in an exciting and engaging way is essential.

This Early Career Teacher role will include:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
  • Teach across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks related to teaching.

Required Skills and Experience for this Early Career Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience as an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
  • Ability to teach across KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a work-life balance.

Working as an Early Career Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

  • £110 to 125 day rate which equates to £21,450 per annum to £24,375 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
