Job Description

Flourish Education are working with a welcoming and nurturing Primary School in Coventry who are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their Nursery team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who enjoys supporting young children and helping them develop their confidence, independence and school readiness. The school has a strong focus on the EYFS framework and encourages close teamwork between Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants and Class Teachers.

You will support children on a 1:1 basis, as well as during group activities, continuous provision and indoor play. Experience supporting children with additional or attentional needs would be beneficial.

The Role
  • Support the delivery of high-quality EYFS provision.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
  • Support continuous provision, play and engaging learning activities.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher and wider Early Years team.
  • Promote children's development, confidence and school readiness.
  • Support positive behaviour and safeguarding procedures.

About You
Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential.
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator, CACHE/NVQ Childcare or relevant Early Childhood Studies qualification.
  • Previous UK school experience – essential.
  • Experience working with nursery-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • A caring, enthusiastic and collaborative approach.

  • £111.99 – £133.28 per day (£21,839 – £25,989 per annum based on 5 days per week).
