Flourish Education are currently working with a school in Walsall. The school are recruiting for an Early years SEN 1:1 teaching assistant with a pupil in reception with Autism. The child is high needs and would need someone to support them throughout the day with accessing the curriculum.

The ideal candidate would be nurturing and enthusiastic in assisting SEN children and working on a 1:1 basis. They will need all relevant qualification and will need to connect well with the child.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP and could be ongoing until the end of the academic year.

To apply to this Early Years SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant role you will need the following

• Have experience of working with pupils with SEN.
• Have the relevant Level 2 qualification or above.
• Have experience working with the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Have supported pupils in one to one.
• Be enthusiastic about working with children.
• Good behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities of this Early Years SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant role are as follows

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Prepare resources.
• Follow school behaviour policies.
