Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting an Early Years Primary Teacher to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Yardley to join their support staff team on a long-term basis. 

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Reception class who has a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons / activities and monitor students’ progress. 

This role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning and marking. PPA time will be given.

This Early Years Teacher role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. It also has potential to continue to next academic year too. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary EYFS Teacher role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in EYFS
  • Commitment to the role
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
  • Raise children’s attainment
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effectively work alongside teaching assistants and other members of staff
Working for Flourish Education as a Primary Teacher you will receive:
  • £168.80 day rate to £232.57 day rate which equates to £32,916 per annum to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Early Years Teacher (EYFS Teacher) opportunity is located in Yardley which is easily commutable from areas such as Shirley, Tyseley, Stechford, Sparkhill, Moseley, Small Heath, Acocks Green and most areas of Birmingham, Solihull Coventry and Warwickshire via car, bus and train. The school has an on-site car park.
