This EYFS Teacher opportunity offers day-to-day and long-term work in supportive Primary Schools across Ross-on-Wye, allowing you to focus on delivering creative and engaging Early Years lessons without planning pressures. Whether you're looking to work regularly or occasionally, this role supports a healthy work-life balance.
Job Role:
  • Deliver engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support early learning goals through play-based and structured activities
  • Provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for young children
  • Work alongside teaching assistants and other staff to support children’s development
  • Cover lessons during staff absence or PPA time
  • Adapt to different Primary School settings as an EYFS Teacher
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Recent experience in an EYFS Teacher, Class Teacher, or Supply Teacher role
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the National Curriculum
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments with confidence
  • A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to early education
  • Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs

Location:
This EYFS Teacher position is based in Ross-on-Wye, easily commutable from Lydbrook, Cinderford, Ledbury, Coleford, and Monmouth. Many of the Primary Schools we work with offer onsite parking and are accessible via public transport links.
