Early Years Teacher

Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher looking for a full-time role starting this term?

This is a full-time teaching position within the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, well-resourced school environment. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment, and support children’s early learning across all areas of the EYFS framework.

This role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking a more structured and manageable workload.

This inclusive Primary School is looking for a committed, caring, and adaptable teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting children’s development.

As an Early Years Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Observing and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to support pupils

To be successful in this Early Years Teacher role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
  • Experience within an Early Years setting (placement experience considered for ECTs)
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing and patient approach to teaching young children
  • A positive and flexible attitude

Working for Flourish Education as an Early Years Teacher, you will receive:
  • Competitive Salary – £25,350 - £31,200 per annum (pro rata) based on working 5 days a week
  • Pension contributions
  • Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot
  • KCSIE-compliant safeguarding and prevent duty training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse
  • Refer a Friend bonus scheme
  • Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work from your own dedicated consultant

This Early Years Teacher role is based in Tipton, which is easily accessible from Dudley, West Bromwich, Wednesbury, Oldbury, and Bilston.
