Are you an experienced Teacher, with a passion for Early Years?

Flourish Education is recruiting for an Early Years Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Worcester from January until July 2026.

This is a full-time position with full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and a passion for providing high-quality early education.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching in Nursery or Reception, delivering engaging, play-based learning that supports children’s development in all areas. A good knowledge of phonics, ideally including experience with Read Write Inc. or similar schemes, is essential to effectively support early reading skills. As an Early Years Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students, in line with the Early Years Framework.
  • Encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve high standards, grow as individuals and nurture values
  • Observing and marking work efficiently to ensure students’ academic progress.
  • Supporting students in their personal, social, and academic development.
  • Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment with excellent behaviour management.
  • Collaborating effectively with staff to create a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere.

Required Skills and experience needed for this Early Years Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching within Early Years, and an understanding of the Early Years Framework
  • A passion for creating stimulating and engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent knowledge of phonics, with the ability to deliver intervention sessions
  • A minimum of 2 school/ nursery based references
