Flourish Education are recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ one-form entry Primary school. The school is in the Cannock area and are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant who is extremely pro-active, hands on and can use their initiative.

Responsibilities of an Early Years Teaching Assistant at our client’s school will include using your initiative, provide support to the Class Teacher and help prepare the classroom ahead of sessions, safeguard all children, assist with personal care and take small groups.

Flourish Education is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to start immediately, to work on a long-term and full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

Required skills for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role:

  • Level 2 or above relevant EYFS qualification
  • Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner / TA in EYFS
  • To be able to work in conjunction with class teacher effectively
  • Ability to contribute to safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
