Flourish Education is currently recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within a one-form entry village primary school in Cinderford, to join their team in September to cover Maternity Leave. The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, with the report stating that; ‘This is a very harmonious community where pupil, staff and parental surveys were unanimous in their praise for the work of the school.’
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting within the EYFS, and a thorough understanding of the importance of learning through play. The school are looking to improve their teaching of reading and phonics. Therefore, supporting children requiring phonics or reading intervention would be of an advantage.
This is a full-time position in a thriving little school. We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start, to continue provisionally until the end of the Autumn Term.
Required Skills and Experience for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role:
⦁ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
⦁ Experience of supporting children within the EYFS
⦁ Experience of teaching or supporting Phonics lessons/Phonics Intervention Groups
⦁ Committed to a long term role
