Job Role:
  • Support the Class Teacher with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children in Reception
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Follow the National Curriculum and contribute to lesson preparation
  • Encourage children’s development through play-based learning
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members and TAs in school
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous UK school experience is essential
  • Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Experience as an Early Years TA, EYFS Teaching Assistant, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Ability to support the Class Teacher and work as part of a team
  • Confident in promoting learning in Reception and Early Years settings
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
