lourish Education is currently recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within a one-form entry village primary school in Hereford, to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, with the report stating that; ‘This is a very harmonious community where pupil, staff and parental surveys were unanimous in their praise for the work of the school.’ The school benefits from beautiful surroundings and a newly developed outdoor area, and a love of the outdoors is a must!

The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting within the EYFS (either in Reception or Nursery), and a thorough understanding of the importance of learning through play. You must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification in order to apply for this role.

This is a long-term position in a thriving little school. The role will initially run for one year to cover maternity leave, but has the potential to be extended further for the right candidate. We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant for a September start.

Required Skills and Experience for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role:
Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Experience of supporting children within the EYFS
Committed to long-term role

This Early Years Teaching Assistant opportunity is located in Hereford, and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Huntington, Lugwardine, Hampton Bishop and Warham. The school has an onsite carpark, and is easily accessible via public transport.
