Are you a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in September? Flourish Education is currently recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within a one-form entry village primary school in Hereford, to join their team on a part-time basis in September (3 days per week). The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, with the report stating that; ‘This is a very harmonious community where pupil, staff and parental surveys were unanimous in their praise for the work of the school.’ The school benefits from beautiful surroundings and a well-equipped outdoor area (A love of outdoor learning and muddy puddles is a must!) 

The successful applicant will have experience of supporting within the EYFS, and a thorough understanding of the importance of learning through play. The school have specified that suitable applicants must have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification. 

This is a long term position in a thriving little school. We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant for a September start. The role will provisionally continue until the end of the Autumn term, but will have the potential to be extended for the right candidate. 

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting children within the EYFS
  • Experience of teaching or supporting Phonics lessons/Phonics Intervention Groups
  • Committed to permanent role
  • DBS on the update service of issued within the last 12 months

This Early Years Teaching Assistant opportunity is located in Hereford, and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Huntington, Lugwardine, Hampton Bishop and Warham. The school has an onsite carpark, and is easily accessible via public transport.
