Early Years Teaching Assistant required for a full-time, class-based role in Nursery starting this September for the full academic year. This Teaching Assistant position will involve working closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Job Role:
- Supporting learning and development in an Early Years class
- Providing individual and small group support in line with the EYFS
- Assisting with classroom activities and daily routines
- Collaborating with the teacher and other staff to create a nurturing learning environment
- Supporting the school’s ethos and high expectations
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within Early Years
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Previous experience working in a UK Primary School
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and EYFS framework
- Experience supporting children in Reception or Nursery
- Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
