Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD rated Primary School in Worcester.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to support young children in their early learning stages, helping them to develop foundational skills and a love for learning.

 

This role starts as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis. The role is based in the schools' pre-school classroom.

 

Job Role:

Provide support to the Early Years class, assisting with the delivery of lessons and activities

Support individual children with their personal, social, and academic development

Assist with planning and delivering activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Work with children one to one and in small groups, encouraging their participation and engagement in lessons

Manage children's behaviour, promoting a positive and nurturing learning environment

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role in a Primary School setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Excellent behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and positive classroom environment

Experience working with young children, particularly in the Early Years phase

A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children

Relevant qualifications or training in Early Years education Level 3 is essential

 

Working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

£85 to £100 per day, equating to £16,575 to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
