EBD/PRU Teacher Needed in Nuneaton Area

Flourish Education are working with a highly motivated pupil referral unit in Nuneaton who have an urgent need for a specialist EBD Teacher to join them ASAP.

This PRU caters to children who lost their place in mainstream school. Many of the pupils have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) and require extra support from inspiring staff members. Every class has TA support and some pupils will have additional 1:1 TA’s.

The school offers a safe and positive environment along with enrichment and vocational activities. Students are held to high standards by their committed school teachers and staff.

You must be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team.

• You will need experience in leading a classroom with excellent behaviour management
• You will have the ability to inspire and motivate your pupils to fulfil their potential and hold them to high standards of achievement
• You must understand and be committed to safeguarding children

You will Need

• QTS or a UK recognised teaching qualification
• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• You will be a firm but fair role model to appropriately deal with the challenging behaviour you will encounter on a daily basis, be it in a 1:1 or group setting.
• Experience of working in a PRU or similar environment
