English Teacher opportunities like this don’t come around often! Flourish Education is recruiting a flexible English Teacher to work as a Supply Teacher on either a long-term or day-to-day basis across well-regarded Secondary School settings in Dudley and the surrounding area.
This role allows you to choose when and where you work, offering complete control over your diary while teaching in an OFSTED-rated GOOD school. Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time or ad-hoc days, we work around you to ensure a great work-life balance.
Job Role

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Follow the National Curriculum and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management within the classroom
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback
  • Build positive relationships with staff and pupils within the Secondary School
  • Work confidently as a Supply Teacher across a range of classes
Required Skills and Experience
  • English Teacher, English ECT, Secondary English Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Confident delivering to KS3 and KS4
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire pupil progress

This English Teacher position is based in Dudley, easily commutable from Kingswinford, Stourbridge, Brierley Hill, Halesowen, Wolverhampton, Tipton and surrounding areas. The Secondary School is well-connected by public transport and offers accessible routes from across the West Midlands.
