Flourish Education is delighted to recruit a dedicated English Teacher for a long-term position at this supportive Secondary School in Bromsgrove starting in September and continuing until January.
This English Teacher role offers both full-time and part-time options, providing flexibility while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing student literacy skills and contributing to the wider school community.
Job Role
• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management and implement school policies
• Support students’ literacy development and learning needs through effective differentiation
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Required Skills and Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (ECTs welcome)
• Experience working as an English Teacher in a UK Secondary School
• Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience planning and delivering lessons independently
• A positive reference from your most recent employer
