This role is due to start in September for the whole academic year. You will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 with full class responsibilities.

English Teacher Job Role:
  • Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment
  • Deliver engaging English lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing targeted support as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively with excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
Required Skills and Experience for this English Teacher Role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recently qualified Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience teaching English in a UK Secondary School environment
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, KS3, and KS4
  • A passion for English literature and language with excellent subject knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and create an inclusive classroom
  • Roles also open to experienced Secondary Teachers, Subject Leads, and Cover Supervisors
